You must read and agree to our Terms and Conditions prior to ordering or booking.
The Flight
The Flight is subject to availability and the date and time is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation of it from us.
The voucher is for a seat on the Flight described, but you may, at our sole discretion, exchange it for a Flight of higher value. The exchange is subject to you paying the difference between the original and the new price.
The passenger named in the voucher may transfer the voucher to another person and by their acceptance of that transfer, they accept these conditions.
Children under twelve years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Save when specific prior arrangements for guide dogs have been made, animals are not permitted on the Flight.
Neither smoking nor consumption of alcohol is allowed aboard the aircraft.
Electronic devices may only be used with the specific prior consent of the Captain.
Due to baggage space constraints, only one small piece of hand luggage is permitted, unless by prior agreement.
Items we class as dangerous or unacceptable may not be taken on the Flight (see our web site or ask our staff for the current list).
The voucher is valid for one year from the date of its issue.
You should contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel your booking. If you cancel or wish to change your Flight within 3 days (72 hours) of your booking you may be liable to a cancellation charge of 100% unless we are able to fill your space.
Our discretions
For safety or other operational reasons, we have the right in our absolute discretion to do a number of things. We will use all reasonable endeavours to advise you as soon as possible of any exercise of this discretion, but you accept that this could happen at any time up to the set departure time.
We strongly recommend that you telephone us prior to setting out to check the status of the Flight. Our refund and cancellation policy will apply and is available on request.
We reserve the right to amend the details of the Flight and provided the amended trip is of the same length and reasonably comparable routing, you may take the Flight as amended, rebook, or request a refund. This paragraph does not apply when flights are postponed due to weather.
We reserve the right to divert the Flight for technical or safety reasons and if we do so, we will make all necessary arrangements for accommodation and/or alternative transport to return you to the start point of your Flight, or some other reasonable place of your choice.
We reserve the right to search you and/or any baggage you may have either before or during the Flight.
We reserve the right to refuse to carry you and/or any baggage you may have, if in the sole opinion of the Captain of the aircraft, it may endanger or adversely affect the safety or health or materially adversely affect the comfort of other passengers or crew, if you refuse to submit to a search, if you appear to us under twelve years or age and are unaccompanied, if you do not have a valid voucher for the Flight or if the voucher is not fully paid.
We reserve the right to restrain any passenger whose behaviour endangers the aircraft or any passenger or crew, to disembark such passenger at any reasonable point of disembarkation and to refuse any onward carriage.
We may also depart without you if you fail to arrive for the Flight in due time to embark prior to the scheduled departure time.
Your responsibilities
It is your responsibility to ensure that:
- you are fit and able to take the Flight;
- you arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the Flight; and
- you advise us well in advance of the Flight of any condition, illness or special needs you may have that might affect your ability to fly.
We will do all that we can to accommodate such condition, illness or need subject to the practicalities of doing so and subject also to our overriding obligation for the safety of all passengers and crew and the aircraft itself.
Liability
In accordance with European Union Council Regulation No 2027/97:
- our liability in the event of any accident is not subject to any financial limit in respect of damages sustained in the event of death, wounding or any other bodily injury suffered by a passenger;
- we have strict liability for 100,000 SDRs of any claim for death, wounding or any other bodily injury suffered by a passenger unless we can prove that the damage was caused by, or contributed to by, the negligence of the injured or deceased passenger; and
- for claims in excess of 100,000 SDRs, we may be exonerated if we can prove that we and our agents took all necessary measures to avoid the damage or that it was impossible for us or them to take such measures.
We will without delay, and in any event not later than fifteen (15) days after the identity of the natural person entitled to compensation has prima facie been established, make such advance payment as may be required to meet the immediate economic needs on a basis proportional to the hardship suffered.
Such payment shall not be less than 16,000 SDRs per passenger in the event of death. Making an advance payment shall not constitute recognition of liability and may be offset against any subsequent settlement. Advance payments made hereunder shall not be returnable unless:
- we prove that the damage was caused by, or contributed to by, the negligence of the injured or deceased passenger; or
- where it is subsequently proved that the person who received the advance payment was not the person entitled to compensation; or
- it is subsequently proved that the person who received the advance payment caused, or contributed to, the damage by negligence.
We are liable to you for damages for any delay unless we took all reasonable measures to avoid the damage or it was impossible to take such measures. Liability for personal delay is limited to 4,150 SDRs and for baggage is 1,000 SDRs.
We do not take checked baggage. Our liability for destruction, loss or damage to baggage is up to 1,000 SDRs.
Where you have a complaint, you must write to us and complain, for destruction, loss or damage to baggage within 7 days and for delay within 21 days from the point of departure.
You must commence any action within 2 years of the end of the Flight. We accept no responsibility for the loss of this voucher or for any loss you may incur as a result of impersonation or identity fraud.
If we require to cancel, delay, amend or divert the Flight because of any act or omission on your part, we reserve the right to recover from you all reasonable loss, costs and expenses we may suffer as a result.
Other terms
The prices include VAT. Prices are set in Sterling but we also accept payment in Euros and Dollars at exchange rates set by our bank from time to time. If we provide any additional services, such as onward transportation, you accept that the terms and conditions of the provider of such services shall apply and that we have no liability for any claim you may have in respect of such services.
We comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1988.

Loch Lomond Seaplanes, Europe`s Premier Seaplane Airline, was recently featured in the ITV documentary on Susan Boyle`s life. The programme, "I Dreamed A Dream - Susan Boyle", was aired in a great many countries Worldwide, including North America, on Sunday 13th December.
For the Loch Lomond Seaplanes` team it was a very special day ! It was a great pleasure and a delight to meet Susan and organise the seaplane flight for her return to Scotland - before her splash down on Loch Lomond and disembarkation at the De Vere Cameron House Hotel pontoon Susan thoroughly enjoyed a scenic tour of the stunning Scottish landscape that makes up the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
