Use of customer information

Information to process your booking

We require certain information to allow us to process your order. This includes your name, address, telephone number, and email address, as well as your credit or debit card number and expiry date. We also need to know the names of all the passengers travelling.

Loch Lomond Seaplanes passes the personal data, which includes information about your method of payment and order, to the credit or debit card company that issued the card with which you placed your order. This information allows us to process your order and to send you confirmation of your booking by email or post. We ask for your telephone number so that we can contact you urgently if there is a problem with your booking or if the weather is unsuitable for take off and/or landing.

Web site tracking

We use tracking software to monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the site to better meet the needs of visitors to www.lochlomondseaplanes.com. This software does not enable us to capture any personally identifying information.

Security

When you Book a Flight we offer the use of the latest secure server software (SSL) that encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.

Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Act we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given to us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

Finally, your data is automatically deleted on our computers three months after your flight.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We may use cookies to enable us to provide certain features. When you enter any Loch Lomond Seaplanes competition or other promotional offer, we may ask for your name, address and email address so that we can administer the contest and notify winners.

Occasionally we may ask you to email us with your opinion on our service, and we may publish some of the comments on our website. However, if you advise us that you do not wish to have your comment and name published, we will not do so.
